Spirituality he character of Living Water College is distinctly Catholic, promoting daily growth in faith for all students. Although the College is Catholic in its principles and practice, non-Catholic students are welcome. Sacred Theology will be studied by all students, regardless of denomination; this study is in pursuit of truth, which is objective and changeless apart from the individuality of particular religions. The spiritual life of the College is both public and private. Therefore, there will be certain public activities which not all students are obliged to participate in, such as the Mass or Rosary. However, all of the students will be held accountable for cultivating a spiritual life. Private spiritual direction and discussion with a spiritual director will be available to all students who wish it. The College strongly encourages students to be conscious of their spiritual development and accountable to themselves for continual practice in their religion. |
