Fred Holtslag, Vice- Chair

"My family and I have been blessed in so many ways! I decided to join the Board of Directors of the Living Water Arts Foundation in order to give something back to the Lord. I wanted to do my part to improve the world we live in – to make a difference that would bring glory to His name."
red was born in Carman, Manitoba in the late ‘40s. He attended the Universities of Manitoba and Winnipeg, and received his Bachelor of Arts (major in Philosophy) in 1969. He was awarded his CF pilot wings in 1970. After 25 years of flying helicopters in Europe and Canada, and serving in a multitude of senior officer positions, he retired from the uniform.
Fred and his wife, Marianne have three young adult offspring. He runs a home-based business in St. Albert, creating websites and custom graphics; and for 16 years he supported the military doing contract work at their Area Simulation Centre in Namao, Alberta. He is past Over-all Director of the Edmonton-Strathcona Live-In Society, past President and Executive Director of the Alberta Pine Shake Homeowners Association, and past Chairman of Live-In International.
He is an active member of the Knights of Columbus; and does the desktop publishing for their annual prolife calendar – which features artwork from the local junior and high school. For five years he enjoyed acting in a variety of roles in the stage production Love According to John (the passion of our Lord) at the Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton.
